On this side of the world it came a little later. For something completely different, we went 4 wheel driving up into the mountains, into the snow. That was only about an hour's drive away and it was a LOT colder.
It had snowed a lot the night before so most of the roads were closed but we eventually found our way out to a nice spot high up the mountain and we had a picnic and I made a snowman.
